What’s ICF Accreditation?

It seems like everyone is calling themselves a coach these days. But not all coaches are the same, and those who know, know what they are looking for. They are looking for coaches who are certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

ICF is the largest global regulating body for coaches. They have set the standard for non-directive coaching. As a coach with an ICF credential you will:

  • Practice the global, gold standard of coaching

  • Distinguish yourself from non-accredited coaches

  • Gain instant visibility and credibility with clients

  • Be connected to thought leadership and a vibrant network of coaches

With Red Maple, you can become an ICF-accredited coach in eight months.

Become a High-Impact, ICF Certified Coach with Red Maple

Complete the education, mentor coaching and performance exam needed to apply for an ACC Credential with ICF in as little as 8 months. Become PCC certified with our continuing coach education courses.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • ACC means Associate Certified Coach. These coaches have completed 60 education hours, 10 mentor coaching hours, 100 practice coaching hours, the ACC performance exam and ICF’s coach knowledge exam. (Yeah, it’s a journey. We will help you get there.)

  • You can complete the coach education hours, mentor coaching and ACC performance exam in as little as 8-10 months. The time to complete 100 practice coaching hours will depend on your context.

    1. Complete Part A: Fundamentals of Professional Coaching course

    2. Complete Part B: Coaching For Transformation course

    3. Complete Part C: Mentor Coaching

    4. Pass Part D: The ACC Performance Exam

    5. Complete 100 practice coaching hours

    6. Apply to ICF and take your coach knowledge exam

  • Part A and Part B each cost is $1,995 CAD + HST.

    Mentor Coaching is $2,500 CAD + HST.

    ACC Performance Exam is $250 CAD + HST.

    Our Transformational Leadership package (ACC Credential) package is $6,350 CAD + HST. This includes Part A, B, C & D and a $300 discount.

  • We understand the need to test out the program with a single course. Given our 75% rate of student retention, we are happy to help you take the next step on your journey.

  • Coaches with ACC certification have 60 hours of coaching. PCC coaches have 125 hours of coach training. It is a second level you can get through ICF.

  • Any kind of coach can benefit from Red Maple’s Coach Education. Our focus is on non-directive, leadership coaching with a multiplying impact. It is relevant to sports, but is meant to be applied across all industries. not built solely for sports.
