Raechel Pefanis is a 25 year Registered Social Worker. She is a previous psychotherapist, CBT Instructor, and Clinical Supervisor. Today, Raechel is an author, thinker and leader within her role as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Red Maple is Raechel's third business, reflecting her entrepreneurial nature and love for helping businesses innovate and grow into places of deep health and vitality. A thought leader in her field, Raechel regularly gives keynote addresses on the topic of mental health and wellness at work, and the impact of organizational health on human wellbeing. She is also a Renaissance Partner and Corporate Psychotherapist with Inspired Enterprise, a business cooperative that helps leaders elevate their business impact by aligning corporate strategy with leadership capabilities and organizational culture. Susanna equips leaders to design their context for resilience, staff retention and high engagement, coaching for skills within her clients such as vision, building for diversity, and team development that is built on connection, trust and clarity of purpose.

Coming from a background in hedge fund management before formally transitioning into the coaching and mental health industry, Kara brings years of experience as a professional coach. Specializing in helping others maximize their potential, she guides people as they discover their WHY, and she empowers them with tools to minimize stress and cultivate focus for a meaningful life as well as a purposeful career. She supports individuals and groups in becoming champions of thriving personal and professional lives where they feel healthy and have a sense of belonging to a community. Kara is a certified coach and current Masters student.

Professional Certified Coach

Brian brings over 10 years of experience facilitating and instructing the Adler-based coach education and training program.  His supportive and challenging approach to coaching ensures that students are reaching their fullest potential as they not only learn but experience both the science and art of the coaching conversation. Brian earned his certification under the guidance of the Adler Graduate Professional School and holds a Professional Certified Coach designation with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  He is also an authorized agility training partner with Tilt 365 and has continued his studies into numerous specialities, including psychology of leadership certification through Cornell University, presence-based coaching,  and team coaching certification with the Corentus Group.

Kathy Sauve is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) based out of Kitchener - Waterloo, Ontario. She has a background leading and coaching in a major insurance company, and believes in helping people and teams reach their full potential.  She’s an inspiring leader who championed leadership development and internal coaching within her organization. Kathy is certified in Working Genius, Everything DiSC and facilitates the Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team. Creative and thoughtful, her goal is to help you achieve long-term results. Kathy loves to mentor future coaches or help fellow coaches maintain their certification.

Tessa is a Registered Social Worker who has completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree and is currently completing her Master of Social Work degree at University of Waterloo.  Tessa has worked with individuals, families, and communities for over 18 years from a strength-based and client-centered approach to provide education, empowerment, growth, and emotional support. Her experience and knowledge in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationship and family dynamics, conflict, and prenatal/perinatal education present an opportunity to support individuals, couples, and families in a meaningful, educational, and compassionate manner so that each client may connect to their own intuition while building skills, strength, and empowerment.

LAILA BRAND, BA, MA, RP

Registered Psychotherapist

Laila is a Registered Psychotherapist with a particular interest in the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and the wisdom of the body. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, as well as a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Care from Wilfrid Laurier University. Within each therapy session, Laila strives to hold a space of attending to the whole self of the individual, welcoming whatever shows up in a session. Laila draws upon various therapeutic modalities including Somatic (body-based) approaches to address both past and present experiences of overwhelm and distress. Laila is deeply committed to the process of cultivating a felt-sense of safety and resourcing in each individual, in order to engage our capacity to address challenges, and to support the experience of more resilience and new possibilities in our lives.

EZRA BRANDERHORST, BSW, MSW (Cand.), RSW

Registered Social Worker

If we change the way we think, we change the way we feel. Ezra will assist you in noticing intrusive thoughts, challenging and then changing them so that you can feel better about yourself and improve your quality of life. Ezra believes in a strengths-based, client-centered approach where the client is the expert.  He is passionate about using CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focussed Therapy to help clients get to know and accept themselves in order to achieve enduring mental wellness and emotional wellbeing. A Registered Social Worker for the past 10 years, Ezra has been counselling for 5 years and is a member of the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapists. He lends his clinical expertise to helping adolescents and adults improve their coping around a variety of issues including trauma, ADHD, anger, depression, and anxiety in all its forms, including general anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Outside of the office, Ezra enjoys being outside, reading the Harry Potter series, playing sports, gaming, watching movies, and spending time with his pets.
