Mindfulness and Presence: externalizing our thoughts and feelings, and getting "out of our heads"
Distress Tolerance: learning to work through hard emotions without sabbotaging ourselves (or others)
Emotional Regulation: learning skills that reduce pain and lashing out
Interpersonal Effectiveness: learning relationship skills that work to make our lives brighter
